Molo'oa Bay

day at the bay with bae

After spending time at Molo'oa Bay I decided that Bays just may be my favorite kind of beach. They always have the most perfect swimming conditions (in summer) and the water is always sooo blue. Molo'oa Bay was no exception as the perfectly calm water and ocean blues invited everyone in to come play.

I am not sure which body of water created this gorge but it was pretty neat. It was basically someones backyard! The water did not look that clean though so we didn't get in and play. But near shore break it's juts ocean water in a mini pool on the beach and that was soo relaxing to just lay in.

This was the tropical oasis of these lucky homeowners and then backing up into the beautiful bay. I was ready to move in. One thing we thought was cool is how all the houses were built on pillars to help if hurricanes, tsunami, or flash floods happen. Surprisingly we have never seen that here on Oahu!

This was the very first time EVER using my Knekt Dome and I was so giddy and excited! I know that I am going to get better with practice but it was so much fun shooting with it. I absolutely love the perspective it gives, and the quality is so amazing.

The water was so perfect: perfect temperature, clear as can be, and flat! It was so fun to swim around and dive around and play with the GoPros. My happy place is definitely underneath the ocean. I guess us Pisces Babies can't get enough!

We will always have our goggles while swimming not matter the water. Underneath is an entire world and we feel so blessed getting to experience that first hand! I recently invested in some hefty free dive gear for Rashawn and I's two year anniversary. I got us Da Fins and U.S Diver Gear Goggles. Plus a few fun floaties! But the gear was so worth the extra dollars, and trust me I am pretty frugal, but these brands are truly some of the best. It makes exploring so much better.

I had/secretly still have an obsession for swim suits. SO many cute ones are coming out this summer and I so wish I wasn't a broke college student so I could load up! But in the mean time I love mixing and matching my suits old and new to constantly make it feel like I am wearing something new! This is an old Roxy top with new Pac Sun bottoms!

We even saw some fish around the coral but overall this beach was calm and relaxing. One of the best things about Kauai is how relaxing and unpopulated it is! We basically had the beach to our selves besides about 5 others lounging around the sand. It was super nice.
