Chatfield Farms Corn Maze
colorado's best corn maze
For me, Fall is not Fall without three things: Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, and of course Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte :) I am coming up on my last week in Colorado so I can't wait to go back to Aloun Farms and get my pumpkin picking on! But, we unfortunately do not have a corn maze on Oahu, so I knew I had to go to Chatfield Farms before I left!
This day was perfect because I got to go with my new friend and blogging babe Kristen! Her blog is your go to spot for cute clothes and fun adventures! I love the blogging community because there is so many amazing people here and it is so fun getting to know everyone and their stories! Kristen is the cutest so make sure you check her out!
If you should know anything about me it's that I have the messiest hair and I love braids. I have loved messy hair sense I was little, it's a staple for me.
I am super into mixing different kind of braids right now! Fishtails always add the unique style to your look! Most of my braid inspo comes from my favorite blogger Amber Fillerup! But if you ever have suggestions send them my way!
Now back to the corn maze! Give your self at lest an hour to get though maze, although we made it through twice in an hour! You never know what can happen :)
I think this corn maze was so cool because of the shape of the maze! I sooo wish I had a drone for this because I bet an aerial view would be super neat! They will give you a free laminated map at the beginning of the maze, you just have to return it when your done! It actually does help, we could tell when we were in the letters!
You are not allowed to pick the corn but we found a few pieces on the ground as we walked through so you might get lucky, but please refrain from picking any!
Kristen just bought her new Kodiak hiking boots and decided to break them! Which is a great idea, because you will definitely want to wear closed toe shoes for this adventure! I would recommend boots as your best option, and some you don't mind getting a little dusty!
I also love coming home to wear my boots!! If I miss anything besides Chipotle, it's my boots! I have about three pairs from Target and love them all so much! Affordable and cute are my two favorite things!
They also offer A Haunted Corn Maze starting on September 30th! So if you want to get into the Halloween Spirit the classic way check out the information here under 'Dead Zone Haunted Attraction'!
Put me right back Home :)
how to get here
Like mentioned above it can be very hot so it is important to stay hydrated and cool to prevent heat exhaustion. If at any point you feel ill or panic there is a guard watching over the corn maze the entire time who can help you. Be cautious that wildlife can be found in the corn so refrain from walking through or touching it. Also do not pick corn or destroy crop.
